B&B at the Ship Inn
This lovely Victorian Inn is situated in the country on the Hampshire Berkshire border. It is only a short distance from Newbury, Reading and Basingstoke with easy access to the M3 and M4.
The bar is oak panelled with comfy chairs, sofa, pool table and dart board. It is also said to be haunted. Open all day Monday to Saturday and lunchtimes and evenings on Sunday. A varied menu is available. Roasts served on a Sunday.
Double, twin and single rooms available. All are en-suite with colour TV. and tea and breakfast facilities. Full English breakfast included in the price.
To the rear is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) with walks taking you by a river and though woodlands and meadows.
